Ingredients

• Leftover rice – 1 cup

• Boiled potatoes – 2 (mashed)

• Onion – 1 (finely chopped)

• Green chili – 1-2 (finely chopped)

• Coriander leaves – a little (chopped)

• Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

• Salt – according to taste

• Red chili powder – ½ tsp

• Garam masala – ½ tsp

• Gram flour or breadcrumbs – 2 tbsp (for binding)

• Oil – for frying

Method of preparation

1. Mix rice, mashed potatoes, onion, green chili, coriander leaves and all the spices in a bowl and mix well.

2. If the mixture seems too wet, then add gram flour or breadcrumbs to it and thicken it a little.

3. Now prepare small round or oval shaped cutlets from this mixture.

4. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the cutlets on medium flame till they turn golden and crispy on both sides.

5. Your crispy and delicious rice cutlets are ready!
